Did we forget a step?

Many of us have heard about the third wave of the American economy. First it was agrarian, second it was manufacturing, and now it is service and technology. But, did we forget a step? Can the average Joe support a family on a service job? He could he we didn’t forget a step. At the turn of the 19th century as we moved into the manufacturing economy the fat cats used child, immigrant, and sweat shop labor to run the factories that were replacing the agro jobs of the past. The pro-government types went along because this created a large voting block and eventually the labor unions. Does this sound familiar?  A short time later we got FDR and 60 years of big government.

As we are moving into the service technology economy the fat cats are using cheap labor to fill the jobs at wages that will not support the average American family. The pro-government left goes along because they want the new voters. They also know that eventually that will get power and create the biggest government the world has ever seen as the fat cats blinded by greed drive down wages with jobs they say Americans won’t do. They won’t due them for $6.50 an hour but they will for $20.00 per hour. I can hear the screams from here, “DO YOU KNOW WHAT A PINT OF STRAWBERRARIES WILL COST”, not exactly but I do know what a gallon of gas costs. I do know how much I pay in taxes and that health care inflation is times regular inflation. I do realize the illegal don’t pay for health or car insurance and leave the rest of us with the bill. We are paying allot for those cheap strawberries we just don’t get to eat them because we have to pay for the services the cheap labor uses.

It is hard to believe we are reliving the same history word for word. Wow is greed a bright light. It blinds us to history.

If we do not close the borders make it devastatingly painful if you hire an illegal. Provide tamper proof ID’s so employers know whom they are hiring. Big government will be the only answer once again as it became in the early 20th century.

It is not too late we just need to wake up and realize the Bush and the Liberals are teaming up with the same ideas but with different agendas. Bush loves big business and the libs love the votes that will be created.

The end of the GOP?

Romney and Giuliani are done. If you idiots didn't want the rebel without as cause McCain, you shouldn't have supported a pro-death, northeatern, loud mouth with mobster ties or the empty suit perfect hair say what ever takes to get elected candidates. You forced us (evangelicals) to support a true conservative Huckabee. Maybe before you call Huck a liberal you should research our hero's record. Reagan promoted many of the same policies as Huck did as CA gov. As we all are supposed to believe, as Republicans, in states rights and the role of state government. The same policies we, Reagan and yes Huckabee promote at the federal level are doomed if the states don't step it up and do the job.

You idiots whom are slamming Huck need to look back at Reagan’s tax record in CA. Stop being revisionist and remember he even raised the Social Security tax, capital gains tax and signed an amnesty bill. Get off Hucks back. If he doesn't win that’s okay neither did Goldwater.

We gave you Reagan, we gave you the Congress, and we even gave you Bush 43. Now,when we want our candidate, you destroy him. Nominate Romney or the Giuliani and the party will go the way of the Whigs and can you say hello to another President Clinton or worse President Obama (spell check Obama it becomes Osama). We will get the blame as we did in 2006 for staying home but remember we are not nominating the guys who spit in the face of the constituency that made this the majority party.

We will not vote in lock step anymore. Yes, even if we lose.

I Like Mike!

I am for Huckabee not against Rudy

For many weeks I have been very anti Rudy. I have found myself screaming at the radio as Sean Hannity breaks his back carrying the water for Rudy. Rudy and Hannity claim that Rudy is the one who can compete and defeat Hillary and that is why we should support him. I am a firm believer that we need someone to vote for. I need someone to inspire me to vote for them not against someone else. I can not and will not support a liberal like Rudy.

I have decided I am not going to be a Rudy basher I am a Mike Huckabee supporter. I will support Huckabee because he is a calming voice and a person who can unite our party and our country. Please go to:

www.mikehuckabee.com/index.cfm?FuseAction=VerticalDay.Home&l=98CA99D3F55806B849E31E8699850F28

And learn more about Mike. Send him a donation and let’s make some noise. If we get him enough money to make the “smart northeasters” believe he is top tier. He will be top tier. Unfortunately the only thing that matters to the “smart northeasters” is money.

Listen to Mike Huckabee and his message. He has what it takes to lead he, is a leader. We conservatives will be able to vote FOR Mike Huckabee and not just against Hillary. We will have it all.

GO MIKE GO! GO MIKE GO! GO MIKE GO! GO MIKE GO!

Iran is the Enemy

Iran is the enemy

My earliest memories of the world placed Iran as enemy number one. Iran declared war on the United States when they held our hostages in Tehran for 444 days. They were responsible for holding hostages in Lebanon and bombing our Marine barracks killing 241 Marines and American servicemen. Time after time these extremists committed acts of war against us and we stood silent. This is a bi-partisan issue. Jimmy Carter’s inaction in the hostage crisis and even Ronald Reagan cut out of Lebanon after the barracks bombing. No offensive response was taken. These two incidents defined the tactics that our current enemies use to defeat us. They know that we have no resolve. They know that the American left and the accomplices in the media will not allow us to fight and win. We must come together if we are to win.

For us to come together we must first realize who the enemy is. The left hates the fact that George Bush won the 2000 election and can not allow him to have a legacy of victory. The left states we are fighting the wrong war and that Bi Ladin and Al Quadea is the only enemy of the United States. I submit that prior to 9-11 that over 90% of Americans had no idea who Al Quadea was, we new Hezbollah, Hamas, and Islamic fanatical groups. Although it is very important to keep up the pressure on Al Quadea, Iran is the one killing our servicemen and women in Iraq.

What will it take for America to realize that Iran is at war with us? I feel it is time for us to declare war on them. They are supporting our enemies in Iraq. They are supporting Syria, Hezbollah in both Lebanon and Israel. They are the most disruptive force in the Middle East. Come on America lets get together and defeat our enemy. They want to destroy our way of life. They hate the lifestyles, of the left, more than those of us on the right. That would kill homosexuals, women who show there faces or have abortions, and little girls who want to go to school. This is not Vietnam our enemy would not support the anti-war crowd.

I do not understand. Is your hatred of President Bush so strong that losing the defining war of our generation is acceptable? Is it impossible for America to win? If we promise to give Bill Clinton the credit for winning the war or at least not blaming him for ignoring the war, will you allow us to win? Done, Bill Clinton is the greatest president of all time. See, we conservatives are willing to do what ever it takes. Now will you allow us to win? How about this, George Bush is the worst president in the history of the world. Now will you allow us to win?

I do understand that if we do not stand up and fight the true enemy Iran on every front. If we do not realize that they are the true enemy and that Al Quadea is not the only enemy. We will have already lost. I understand that after 9-11 many feel that Al Quadea must be our primary focus. We are the greatest military power on the planet we can and should be able to fight and win on all fronts, all over the world. Al Quadea is not the only enemy, they are just the reason we have awakened and started fighting back. Are we now going to back down and cower in a corner and pray we will not be hurt again? Or, will we stand together (as we did in all other wars that we won) and defeat our enemies?

Who is an X-Conservative

Who is an X-Conservative

The only way I can describe a ‘Generation X conservative’ is to describe myself. I was born in 1971 in VA. I grew up in a lower middle class household that was full of a lot of love of guns, God, and common sense. My political views were shaped by mainly common sense but also so by Ronald Reagan, Rush Limbaugh, and my faith in God.

Let’s take a closer look at each of the influences that help same my views and my life.

Ronald Reagan is a larger than life figure that helped bring pride back to America. No matter if you love or hate the Reagan presidency, it is intellectually dishonest not to recognize this fact. After the Vietnam War, the Nixon (non-conservative, more in a later posting) shame, and the complete disaster that was the Carter (the anti-Semite, more in a later posting) I will explain) presidency. These are my first memories of politics. The mood of the country was very defeatist. The 'we can’t generation' (the Baby-Boomers, more in a later posting) had started the climb to power. The power of Ronald Reagan and his belief that this country was created to be a beacon freedom and liberty to the world, to be a ‘Shining city on a hill’, began in 1980. He overcame the left leaning voice of the media. He spoke directly to me. He spoke of peace through strength and the power of the American spirit. He brought back our national pride.

I stated that Rush Limbaugh helped shape my conservatism. This doesn’t mean that I am a Limbaugh robot. This means that I listen to the media he created, a forum and a voice for the common sense conservatives. His success is the result of his talent of saying on a large scale the same things we say at the dinner table. He gave conservatives a voice and balanced the left leaning media. This voice is now the dominant force in conservative politics.

The most important factor in shaping my conservatism is my faith in God. My faith has taught me compassion, freedom of thought, and the love of innocent human life.

In conclusion ‘X-conservatism’ is based on the belief of freedom and prosperity. Conservative values are based in fact and reason, not emotion.
